Massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is tailored to meet the patient's condition and injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling, relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aid in recovery and range of motion.
Therapeutic Deep Muscle
This massage involves firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deep layers of muscle and fascia (connective tissue surrounding the muscles). It is used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as stiff neck, sore shoulders and upper back, low back pain, and leg muscle tightness.
Similar to what's commonly known as a Swedish massage, this technique uses smooth gliding strokes to help you relax without focusing on easing any one area or problem. Compared to a therapeutic massage, the therapist will move at a slower pace and use lighter pressure.
Chair Massage (30 min max)
A style of seated massage that is typically shorter and focuses on back, neck, shoulders, and arms, this massage is given with clothes on and doesn't require massage oil.
Similar to other forms of massage, prenatal massage is one offered to expectant mom's who are in their second or third trimester. It offers comfort, stress reduction, and promotes overall wellness.
